Support for Families
Understand your Child. Feel more confident. Make Family Life easier
Parenting doesn’t always unfold the way we expected.
Practical guidance from a special education teacher & parent who understands the journey
Do you feel overwhelmed ?
Maybe your child has big emotions, challenging behaviors, sensory sensitivities, developmental differences, or struggles with everyday routines.
Maybe preschool, elementary school, or childcare isn’t going well.
Maybe your child has diagnosis-or maybe you’re simply wondering why things seem harder for your child than for other children.
Maybe your finding it difficult to balance the needs of everyone in the family?
You don’t have to have all the answers before asking for support.
How I can help
I work with families to provide practical guidance, encouragement, and strategies to make daily life more manageable .
Together we can focus on:
Understanding your child’s needs
Behavior and regulation strategies
Creating routines that support your child and work for your family
Navigating special education and IEP supports if needed
Helping your child communicate, play, cope, and become more independent
Creating a pleasing home environment that promotes calm and organization that makes sense for your family
My goal is to help you feel more confident, supported, and equipped.

Meet Meg
Hi, I’m Meg.
I am an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher with many years of experience supporting young children with developmental differences.
Before becoming a teacher, I worked as:
• a Birth to Three developmental therapist
• an ABA behavior therapist
I am also the parent of four adult children, one of whom has medical and behavioral special needs.
This combination of professional training and lived experience allows me to understand the challenges families face from both perspectives. I know the 24/7 drain that may not be understood by family and friends, and the sense of isolation you may be feeling.
I created this coaching service to support parents who are navigating the complexities of raising children and often overwhelming world of raising a child with neurodivergence/special needs.
Every child develops differently, and every family has it’s own challenges. Together we can develop strategies that fit your child, your home, and your real life.
Strong Roots grew out of my belief that parents deserve knowledgeable, compassionate support without judgement.
You know your child and your family. You may just need help putting the pieces together.
